Deputy for Micro Enterprises of the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Eddy Satriya in a talk show organized by BPOM said that the Ministry of KUKM has several programs, especially related to support for the distribution permits for MSMEs in addition to reimbursement for product distribution permit management fees from the POM Agency.
Especially in the Deputy for Micro Enterprises related to Facilitation of Registration of Certification and Distribution Permits for Micro Enterprises, for the Household Food Industry (IRTP) scale we carry out food safety promotions in collaboration with the Health Office in the Regions as one of the important requirements in obtaining SPP- IRT, in addition to facilitating other certifications, we hold registration for halal certification and trademark certification from DJKI, so basically we provide management replacement funds for micro business actors so that it does not burden the micro business actors in obtaining distribution permits for their products but still adjusted to the availability of the budget allocation ceiling that we have, which thank God this year has been realized, said Eddy during a talk show with the Deputy for Processed Food Supervision, Rita Endang.
On the other hand, in supporting the Indonesia Spice Up The World program, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises is participating in preparing spice SMEs in various regions. Currently, a strategy and action plan have been developed to accelerate the realization of this program by providing assistance and awareness of Indonesian spices.
“A number of SMEs for spice commodities are mapped, such as ginger, turmeric, cardamom, nutmeg, and cloves. The SMEs for spices will be curated to prepare business actors to partner with overseas buyers or restaurants,” said Eddy in a talk show entitled The POM Agency supports Indonesia Spice Up. The World Encourages MSMEs to Go Export, Tuesday (22/06/2021).
To increase productivity, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises provide assistance, including through the development of joint production houses for ginger commodities in East Kalimantan, and coconuts in North Sulawesi.
In addition, the use of social forestry land in the development of spice commodities through managing cooperatives as off-takers. In fact, assistance is also provided for Packaging, Quality Control, Export Procedures (Licensing, Certification), and Export training.
This year, said Eddy, the government has prepared participation in the Dubai Expo 2020 as a means of expanding the market for Indonesian spices in the global market. The largest exhibition in the world will bring together spice SMEs that have been curated and assisted with potential buyers in the Middle East region.
